From discarded reclaimed wood to a unique piece: every step by hand, with an eye for the wood’s story.
I collect discarded pallets that would otherwise end up in landfill — material with a story.
With crowbar and hammer I carefully take the pallet apart, board by board, without damaging the wood.
I sort the loose boards by thickness and quality and let them dry until the wood is stable.
With the router I remove the rough, weathered surface until clean, sound wood appears.
On the table saw I cut each board precisely to size.
I finish the edges with a router for clean, neat sides.
Then I sand everything smooth so the wood feels good and is ready for assembly.
Finally I assemble all parts into a sturdy, unique piece.
